Normally, purchases made with credit cards are authorized within 24 hours and those made with bank slips are approved within 72 hours. Only after confirming payment for your purchase will the shipping process begin.
Shortly after placing your order, you will receive a payment confirmation email. As soon as the order is dispatched, you will receive a notification with the registration number so you can track your merchandise on the Correios website.

Deadline
Our deliveries are made by post (Sedex, PAC or registered printed form).
The deadline will be determined when the order is issued, being:

Sedex: Delivery time is 3 to 5 business days, guaranteed after posting.
Pac: This is the Post Office’s standard parcel service. The stipulated deadline is 8 to 10 business days for delivery after posting, however this is an estimated deadline, that is, not guaranteed by the Post Office. The maximum term for this service is 20 business days.
Registered printed matter: Service for sending objects classified as printed matter, such as books, up to 2 kg. This service takes 5 to 20 business days in most locations, and can reach 40 business days in more remote locations. The estimated deadline will be informed throughout the purchase process. For delivery time calculation purposes, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not considered business days.

If any type of delay occurs, please contact us within a maximum of 20 days after the date of posting so that we can contact the Post Office. After 30 days from the date of posting, it is not possible to register the complaint.

About delivery

Sedex: has home delivery, on business days, from Monday to Saturday, in all municipalities in Brazil.
There will be 3 (three) delivery attempts on consecutive business days, the first being on the same date of arrival at the distribution unit. If delivery is impossible due to a closed house or the absence of a civilly capable person, the order will be available for delivery at the branch closest to the recipient's address, for seven (7) calendar days, after which it will be returned to the sender. Delivery at the counter of the postal unit is made only to the recipient himself or to the person authorized by him, in the appropriate field of the arrival notice left by the postman. If delivery is not possible for other reasons, the order will be returned immediately.
Delivery of the order in a rural or at-risk area is carried out exclusively at the Post Office closest to the recipient's address.
Registered Pac and Printout: Home, on business days, from Monday to Friday, or internal delivery (PO Box, Posta Restante Requested and Posta Restante Caída).
2 delivery attempts will be made, the 1st attempt being on the same day the object arrives at the distribution unit. The 2nd attempt will be made on a subsequent business day.

If the package is returned to Editora Contexto, the shipping cost must be paid by the customer, as the Post Office will charge again for the service.

Areas with home delivery restrictions

Correios does not carry out home delivery in some cities, in rural areas, in places that are difficult to access or at risk. If the object is destined for an area with home delivery restrictions, the Post Office will assess what action should be taken for the indicated zip code, and may extend the delivery time for the object by a further 7 days or send the object to one of the Post Office units. , so that the recipient can pick it up. The Post Office will leave a notice of arrival at the recipient's address, who must go to the indicated Post Office, carrying documents that allow identification, to collect the object. The storage period is 7 calendar days for SEDEX and PAC.

Important:

1. In some cases, the Post Office does not send the arrival notice to the recipient's address, so it is very important to track your order periodically (the tracking code is sent by email).
2. It is very important to check the storage period for the object at the Post Office, as after the aforementioned period, the object will be returned to the Publisher and new shipping will be charged for resending.
